Huck and Lee by Lee Fehrenbacher

Lee's passion for journalism stems from a basic love of storytelling that began in the pages of novels like Robinson Crusoe, Tom Sawyer and the Count of Monte Cristo. Those early books created the spark for an imagination that envisioned, not only the many wonders the world has to offer, but the expectation that he would see them first hand. For Lee, journalism became the vehicle and writing became the opportunity to step into someone else's shoes, experience the adventure of their life and share that with readers.

Lee was born in Portland, Ore., but grew up dividing his time between the arid hills of Northern California and the shores of the Pacific Northwest. Since graduating from college, he has traveled extensively around the world and has written a multitude of articles for numerous publications. Among his topics of concern, Lee is particularly interested in subjects surrounding business enterprise, protection of the environment, global population and human rights issues.

Lee currently lives in Wenatchee, Wash. and is an avid outdoor enthusiast. When he's not in the office, he is likely rock climbing, mountain climbing, skiing, fishing or hiking with his dog Huckleberry.
